Worldly Increase

Fatima Altaf (Group Sumayyah)
Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you
Until you visit the graveyards. [At Takathur:1-2]

This is a truth in life; humans are always competing with one another to gain more in this world. People compete in all sorts of criteria’s, to gain more wealth, job, fame, children, and the list is endless. This continues until a person dies and is buried within the ground, in Hadith Qudsi it says, “nothing fills the stomach of Adam except dust.” Ultimately, we will all die and have to face our Lord, do we want to meet Him with good deeds or nothing at all?
