Blessing Upon Blessing

Medihah Hussain (Group Ruqayyah)
Does he think that never will anyone overcome him?
He says, “I have spent wealth in abundance.”
Does he think that no one has seen him?
Have We not made for him two eyes?
And a tongue and two lips?
And have shown him the two ways? [Al Balad:5-10]

It never ceases to amaze me how the Qur’an talks directly about those things that apply to us the most. There are so many blessings and yet instead of counting them we look towards what we do not have. How many times have we thought about how Allah (swt) gave us lips to help us speak? A tongue to verbally express ourselves. Eyes to see with. But what do we do with all these things?
