A Mummy
But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed.
Then he turned his back, striving.
And he gathered [his people] and called out
And said, “I am your most exalted lord.”
So Allāh seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression].
Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allāh]. [An Naziaat: 21-26]

The mention of Pharaoh reminded me of a recent visit to a museum where there was a mummy of Pharaoh. The mummy scared me so much when I saw it; this is the lesson for us. Even in this world we can see the signs so why do we continue to disobey? I was thinking it is such a humiliation this dead being is on display for the world to see but instead people were taking pictures with it and treating it as light play. It is a shame but we should remember the purpose of these signs.
