What struck me the most in the 29th Juz was verse 02 of Surah Mulk. Allah says: ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ وَٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ لِيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ أَيُّكُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ عَمَلاً۬ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡغَفُورُ – He is the one who created life to test which of you all is best in deed.
This verse had an effect on me for various reasons. First of all, as humans everyone has a different view of life, of their goals what they want to achieve. However, in this ayah Allah tells us what really is the purpose of life. A test. A test to see who is the best in deeds. And whenever there is a test there is a result, a reward. The reward of this test is Jannah. Another amazing concept that struck me here was that Allah wants us to work hard here in this world but He has kept the reward in the hereafter. But that work those deeds that will be accepted have a certain criteria and Allah has told us of that criteria 1) Deed that is done with sincerity to Allah 2) Deed that is done in the right methodology found in the Last Prophets Sunnah. Also Allah mentions life and death in this verse a formula can be derived from it:
LIFE IS FOR TEST AND DEATH IS FOR RESULT, LIFE IS FOR ACTIVITY AND DEATH IS FOR REALITY
