Al Hashr V.1-24
It is He who expelled the ones who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think they would leave, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from Allāh; but [the decree of] Allāh came upon them from where they had not expected, and He cast terror into their hearts [so] they destroyed their houses by their [own] hands and the hands of the believers. So take warning, O people of vision.[Al Hashr:2]
This surah which is also known as Banu Nadir is regarding the Jewish tribe in Madinah. Banu Nadir had made a treaty with the Prophet (saw) that they would not battle with him. However, they soon began betraying the contract and Allah’s power came over them. The Muslims were to drive them out. Banu Nadir went to their forts thinking they were safe there, however, none is safe against the command of Allah (swt). The tribe was later expelled out of Madinah and then the Arabian Peninsula. The lesson in it for us is that no one can go against Allah’s will and then expect to be safe.
