Return

He said, “My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower.” [Saad:35]
Something practical that came out of the story of Sulaiman (as) for me was that sometimes we are distracted by worldly things and responsibilities. However, we should return back to Allah (swt) upon remembering and ask of His forgiveness. We are human and can expect to be distracted but as soon as we realize we should return.
