Sincere Advice

Whoever desires honor [through power] – then to Allāh belongs all honor. To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it. But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those – it will perish. [Fatir:10]
My brothers and sisters in Islam, it is very common to find someone who is seeking power in order to overpower others. There are so many people who are willing to do anything just to get to the top. On the way so many of our people are falling yet we continue to allow this to happen just so we seem mighty in the eyes of some people. My brothers and sisters I do not want to lecture anyone and nor do I want to point fingers all I want is to give you some sincere advice. Remember that our origin is of dirty water and that Allah (swt) has all the power so how is it we can seek His power?

Instead of seeking what we will not be able to reach why don’t we do good deeds and be righteous and fearing of Allah (swt) which will raise our ranks in His eyes. Is that not the reason that you and I are here today?
