O I Wish

A common theme that repeats itself in the Quran is that of righteous company. Many prophets asked Allah (swt) to join them with good friends and repeatedly Allah (swt) warns us that our choice of friends is more than just who we go out and chill with. They are the ones who will help determine our level in the hereafter. If our friends will lead us astray now then in the hereafter they will be like our biggest enemies and those friendships based on Islam will be true and eternal. There is still time now to change whom we spend our time with but when our time runs out there is no going back.
