Created God

But they have taken besides Him gods which create nothing, while they are created, and possess not for themselves any harm or benefit and possess not [power to cause] death or life or resurrection. [Al Furqan:3]
This verse provokes a persons logic, how can it be that people take as Gods something that is a creation. I was speaking to a woman who worshipped idols and asked her why she worshipped something that was created. She mentioned it gave benefit but was not entirely sure with her own answer. The reason is because every human is made in such a way that they recognize Allah (swt) to be the true God. How can it be that you create your own God and then worship it?
