Do you not see that Allāh has subjected to you whatever is on the earth and the ships which run through the sea by His command? And He restrains the sky from falling upon the earth, unless by His permission. Indeed Allāh, to the people, is Kind and Merciful. [Al Hajj: 65]
I was really fascinated by reading this verse, SubhanAllah, Allah (swt) is so Merciful that He has subjugated absolutely EVERYTHING for us. From the earth to the sky to the water.. what else do we want? Everything around is benefiting us, but the question is how much are we benefiting and being thankful?

We always take the resources around us for granted and waste. Have you ever thought of how it would have had been if we didn’t have a place to live, sea to sail or sky as a shade? We should make use of what we have productively and be Thankful to Allah (SWT) that He has provided us so much even after we sin. We do not recognize Allah’s Might, Power and Ability. If He wants, He can snatch it all away from us. All Allah is asking from us is to worship and be thankful to Him. He doesn’t want us to provide Him with anything, rather, Allah will give us more if we do what He asks us to do. We should recognize Allah from the signs of His creation, no one other than Allah can create all this, yet we disobey Him.
