Hikmah

[Mention] when he said to his father, “O my father, why do you worship that which does not hear and does not see and will not benefit you at all? [Maryam:42]
There are many occasions where we have to speak to our parents and stop them from doing something that they should not be doing. In telling our parents we always forget having wisdom and instead we start accusing them and becoming rude. We should take a lesson from the way Ibrahim (as) spoke in a questioning way while remembering his status as a son. This shows that we must always remember our relations when dealing with people.
