So he came out to his people from the prayer chamber and signaled to them to exalt [Allāh] in the morning and afternoon. [Maryam:11]
Had I been in the same situation as Zakariya (as) where I was granted a child in such old age the first thing I would have done is to tell everyone I possibly know. I learnt a really big lesson for myself from his example because instead of going around and telling everyone the good news he asked them to glorify Allah (swt). Never forget to be thankful to the one who has blessed you.
