Negation

It is not [befitting] for Allāh to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, “Be,” and it is.
[Jesus said], “And indeed, Allāh is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.” [Maryam:35-36]

The Qur’an in many places negates the belief of some that Allah (swt) could have a child. Here again we see that Allah (swt) has completely denied that he could have a son and Jesus (as) himself is saying that Allah is the Lord. It is not befitting that anyone says Jesus (as) is anything other than a servant of the most merciful.
