 Who Is The Creator?

Student of Al Huda

Say, “Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Or who controls hearing and sight and who brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and who arranges [every] matter?” They will say, “Allāh,” so say, “Then will you not fear Him?” [Yunus:31]
Is this our case today? If someone asks us who created us we say Allah. If someone asks us who provides we say Allah. If someone asks to whom we will be returned we say Allah. When someone tells us the adhaan has gone and Allah (swt) is calling us to pray we turn our heads as if we did not hear and continue our chores. When we see it is time to give zakah as Allah (swt) has ordained we turn away once again or give very grudgingly. So if we know that Allah (swt) has created then why is it we act in a way that goes against our belief? Should we not check ourselves then to see what is hindering us?
