 No Prayer

Student of Al Huda
It is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire. [At Tawbah:113]
This verse reminded me of an incident which occurred recently. My friends father passed away and we all went to the masjid for the funeral. The men were able to pray the funeral prayer but the microphone was not working and so the women were unable to pray the funeral prayer. I thought about how she was feeling at that time and that this would be the feeling when the hypocrites died at the time of the prophet (saw) and no one prayed their funeral. It is so scary to think once you die there is no one who can help you with their prayers. May Allah (swt) save us from this condition. Ameen.
