 Beautiful Names
Student of Al Huda
And to Allāh belong the best names, so invoke Him by them. And leave [the company of] those who practice deviation concerning His names. They will be recompensed for what they have been doing.
And among those We created is a community which guides by truth and thereby establishes justice. [Al A’raaf: 180-181]

When we address someone we love we call them by names that please them and are beautiful. In the same way we should call Allah (swt) by His most perfect names when we call upon Him. When we do dua or even if we just call upon Him at any given time. Anyone who mocks or ridicules the names or makes jokes about them should not be listened to so if you are in such company you should leave. We must be from the community that establishes justice so there should also be justice when talking of the names of the Creator.
