Straight Path

Student of Al Huda
And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous. [Al An’aam:153]
Allah (swt) ends the surah in such a beautiful way. He is telling us that this is His path- the truth. If we want to be of the righteous then this is the way we must take. Think of it as if you want to get to a certain destination and you are given directions. If you drive straight down one straight you will reach your destination but if you take any turns on the way then you will be mislead and reaching your destination will be made impossible. There are many stop signs on the way but should you stop it should only be for a short while and then you should continue. Do not separate from that straight path because it is the only way for us to be saved and have the mercy of Allah on us inshallah.
