Insulting A Deity

Student of Al Huda
And do not insult those they invoke other than Allāh, lest they insult Allāh in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do. [Al An’aam:108]
Something that we must all remember when we are dealing with people who are of another religion is that we should never disrespect what it is that they believe in. in this verse we are told not to insult what they call their deity as then we would be the cause of Allah (swt) name being insulted and this is something that as a believer should not be taken lightly, therefore, it is better to be quiet and not say anything if you feel you will not be able to control yourself.
