Murder and Recompense

Regarding the story of Adam (as) two sons we can see that once the murder was committed the murderer felt sorrow. His brother had warned him that this would lead to the punishment of Allah (swt) but he did not want to listen to this at that time. I did some research and found the below chart about the most dangerous cities. Is it a coincidence that the city which has the most crime is the one which was struck a few years ago with a hurricane so large it destroyed the majority of the city. It is again for us time to take heed before the punishment comes to us.
