Rushda Haq (Group Fatima)
I love the ayah about the mosquito. I love hearing it’s recitation and I love it because it shows me the grandeur of Allah and it is just amazing: the same example guides many and misleads many but there is no injustice. Only those who cross the limits are misguided. Alhamdullilah that Allah did not leave it up to me to guide myself but He SWT guided me. It is interesting to note that a mosquito can actually bring someone down, since it can carry the West Nile virus. Due to this, in Toronto, there was a “cover-up” campaign this summer, with posters showing women who are indecently dressed and asking them to dress in a way that covers them up to avoid being bitten by a moquito and therfore reduce the risk of contracting the West Nile virus…Subhan’Allah! They won’t cover up for Allah, but will do it becuase of the threat posed by a mosquito!
