Insignificance

Azka Mariam (Group Aisha)
The only words coming in my mind are subhanAllah, as I read the verses of not cutting ties and how Allah taala has made the earth for us in such perfection, yet asking nothing in return except that we recognize Him and worship Him. If we ever make or do something for anyone, we always want something or another in return but we always forget that Allah is truly The Bestower and in need of nothing.
How can you disbelieve in Allāh when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him you will be returned.[Al Baqarah:28]
This verse really opened my eyes as I began to think about the clear sign in life and death that Allah is all powerful. There was a time when we were not on this earth and again there will come a time when we will just be the remains of a generation. Today I am here but tomorrow someone else will be standing in my place. This is all from Allah, He gives life and death to whoever he wants. We are always trying to run away from fulfilling our promise to Allah of worshipping Him but in the end where will we run to? When it is time to die death will definitely find us.
Subhanallah! We think Allah mentioning a mosquito is insignificant but we do not realize that Allah is the rabb of the worlds and He has created everything so why should He hesitate in mentioning one of His creation? If the mosquito is insignificant, so are we. We are only here until Allah calls us back to Him, when that will be only He knows but for us it is a test to gather all the good possible before it is our time.
