Nuh V.1-28
A Daee’
Fauzia Saleemi (Al Huda Student)
This Surah strikes me in many ways and teaches me about of messages. It tells about that a “Daee” should call people only towards Allah (swt) and his focus must be on Tauheed.
Moreover, a “Daee” must give people hope and glad tidings instead making them terrified all the time. He is supposed to tell them that if they sought forgiveness of their Rabb, he will not only forgive them but give them his blessings in abundance, too.
A Daee must be very enthusiastic. He must leave no stone unturned to call people to His Deen. This calling could be either at individual or on public basis.
A Daee must make people ponder upon Allah’s Qudrah, power, authority and blessings spread out all around them.
Everyone must keep in mind that He created us for a great purpose and will resurrect us for accounting.
Surah tells us that we can make Dua not only for our self but it must be made for our parents and other Muslim brothers and sisters.

A Beautiful Relationship
Rushda Haq (Group Fatima)
Surah Nuh was a surah that really struck me from juz 29. One of the central themes in this juz is a da’ee’s connection with Allah, and I felt that came through so strongly in this surah.
Nuh (as) responds to Allah’s call and Allah’s command to convey the message to his (as) people. Then, we see Nuh (as) sharing his experience with Allah, talking to Him, like a friend….this happened then I did this, then they did this….subhan’Allah what a beautiful relationship. It reminded me that when I was younger I used to talk to Allah (swt) before I went to bed…paritally it would be a dua, partially just talking about my day….it was very peaceful. Maybe I should start doing that again…
