Ar Raad V.19-43
Want Paradise?
Gardens of perpetual residence; they will enter them with whoever were righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their descendants. And the angels will enter upon them from every gate, [saying],
“Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home.” [Ar Raad:23-24]
Many times I find myself attracted to one thing or another in the world but when I read verses about paradise I wonder how beautiful paradise must be. Above the description of paradise is given but this is not for everyone. Those who will be blessed with paradise have to join what Allah has ordered us to. This refers to family and friend relations- we should keep them together whether those people are good to us or not we should do our part. Paradise does not come easy, it is something we must strive for.

Coated Beauty
Allāh extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. And they rejoice in the worldly life, while the worldly life is not, compared to the Hereafter, except [brief] enjoyment. [Ar Raad:26]
Today in class someone mentioned that there are many things that we are attracted to in the world but if we observe all these things they are ugly underneath. The world has been made beautiful for us as a test. Take the example of something everyone loves- jewelry. If you leave it out for a while a chemical reaction takes place and it goes black or it gets scratches on it and then no one wants it anymore. In this way everything has been made to look beautiful but underneath everything is the same.

Honour of Knowledgeable
And those who have disbelieved say, “You are not a messenger.” Say, [O Muúammad], “Sufficient is Allāh as Witness between me and you, and [the witness of] whoever has knowledge of the Scripture.” [Ar Raad:43]
In the last verse of the surah Allah (swt) mentions that the prophet (saw) is nothing but a messenger and it is a reassurance that Allah is a witness for him no matter who disbelieves in him. Also the believers and knowledgeable of the Qur’an are sufficient. Here the people that learn and understand the Qur’an are given a noble stage. Allah (swt) speaks of them in an honorable manner, this shows the importance of learning the Qur’an, imagine your degrees near Allah.
